Dr. Manley earned his MD degree at Temple University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed a Urologic Residency at Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri and a Urologic Oncology Fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. Dr. Manley’s clinical practice centers on malignant tumors of the kidneys, prostate, and testis. Using a variety of surgical techniques, including robotic and open surgery, he supports the comprehensive treatment plans for patients with genitourinary cancers at Moffitt.
My research focuses on aspects of translational research in kidney cancer including genomic sequencing, gene expression analysis, RNA splicing, multiplex immunofluorescence, spatial transcriptomics, epigentics and biomarker assay development. These studies have been funded by the Department of Defense KCRP, National Cancer Institute, American Urology Association, State of Florida (Bankhead-Coley) and the Kidney Cancer Association.
