Dr. Berg is a genitourinay medical oncologist involved in clinical and translational research. Dr. Berg joined Loyola University Chicago in 2018 to be the junior faculty lead of the Genitourinary Oncology Program with a focus on translational science and clinical trials for patients with urologic cancers. Her research focuses on the development of novel therapies for patients with urologic malignancies. She has a particular interest in the design of clinical trials that utilize novel immunotherapies as well as using biomarkers discovered in patients peripheral blood to predict immune related toxicities. She was head of the kidney cancer research program at the Cardinal Bernardin Cancer Center at Loyola Univeristy Medical Center from 2018-2022 prior to joining the Lank Center for Genitourinay Oncoloy at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in 2022. She has been an active member and participant in the Kidney Cancer Assocation since 2020. She also serves as an Execuetive Officer for the Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology on the Genitourinary and Experimental Therapeutics and Rare Tumors Committee.
